About Us
The founder, Francesco Santulin, spent previously 11 years as Senior Partner in the largest (at that time) International Executive Search firm, launching the start up of the Italian Branch activity in 1989.
Santulin & Partners operates at Senior Executive level only, taking advantage of the deep knowledge of its consultants in the specific sectors they are responsible for and where they can rely on the qualified relationships’ network established during their many years’ experience in the business.

Francesco Santulin
Chairman e CEO della Santulin & Partners. He established the Firm in summer 2000 with the purpose of developing a high-quality, boutique business model, aimed at supporting the Corporate Governance and Executives Search Consulting services, for those Companies committed to a strong national and international growth.
In his thirty years of experience as Executive Search Consultant, Francesco Santulin successfully completed a significant number of assignments mainly for large industrial and technological corporations, as well as for family owned Companies, establishing lasting relationships with Groups and Key Executives across various industries in Italy, Europe, the US and Asia. He has been leading hundreds assignments for non-executive directors, chairmen, chief executives officers, chief operating officers and business unit directors.
Before founding Santulin & Partners, Francesco Santulin spent eleven years as Managing Director of one of the largest International Executive Search firms; in 1989 he started its Italian Branch activity.
Prior to that he spent eighteen years with IBM Corporation, in different roles, ranking from sales & marketing positions to system engineering and management in Italy and the United States (three years), serving some of the largest Italian private and state-owned industrial groups.
Before that he served as an Officer of the Italian Navy, for seven years, and taught technical applications at the Italian Naval Academy of Leghorn.
He held a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pisa.

Marcello Grassi
As Senior Consultant of Santulin & Partners, Marcello Grassi is in charge of the Insurance and ICT Practice. Before joining Santulin & Partners he focused on the Insurance market and was, since the foundation, Managing Director of Rita (Rete Italiana Teleinformatica Assicurativa – company specialised in network added value services for the insurance market ) and carried out the start-up and its further development for 18 years.
In his role he planned and realized a number of projects for the market and for single insurance companies, increasing the number of the customers and the income of the company, with particular attention to the technological and process innovation and to the new application’s needs.
Prior to that he spent seventeen years with IBM Corporation in different roles, professional, management, strategy and business development in the banking and the insurance markets.
The professional experience, in addition to the insurance and management competence, is enriched by a significant skill in ICT sector and specifically in network added value services.
He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University Politecnico of Milan.
Prior to that he spent seventeen years with IBM Corporation in different roles, professional, management, strategy and business development in the banking and the insurance markets.

Manuela Vallecchi
Manuela Vallecchi has been participating to the foundation of Santulin & Partners and as Partner has been conducting several search projects for Senior Managers of national and international Clients in the financial services and management consulting industry. She gained a relevant and specific experience in international investment banking, private equity and alternative investments industry. During her professional experience she established important and reliable relationships with senior managers who are well-known points of reference in their respective business areas.
She also deals with industrial Clients, for which she has personally managed and successfully completed several assignments.
Before joining Santulin & Partners in Summer 2000, Manuela Vallecchi has gained 8 years’ experience in the Executive Search business, mainly with financial services and management consulting firms, as well as luxury goods and fashion areas.
Her professional experience started in the banking industry: initially with a retail bank, and later on with an Italian investment bank , where she was involved in several corporate finance projects.
She held a degree in Business Administration from La Sapienza, University of Rome and an MBA from the Bocconi University of Milan and speaks fluently Spanish, German, English and French.
She also deals with industrial Clients, for which she has personally managed and successfully completed several assignments.

Nicola Pozzati
Nicola Pozzati is in charge of the Practice “Manager a progetto” at Santulin & Partners.
He has been for 30 years in the Human Resources’ world in multinational contexts with different and complex levels of business and industry maturity. Recently in the Healthcare and Technology services in Althea, with the role of Group HR Director, and later as Chief Human Resources Officer in charge of an important project in the civil aviation sector of Air Italy.
Since 2007, for 10 years, he has been in the ICT Sector at DELL EMC, with HR Director roles in Italy and international responsibilities of the EMEA Area, managing and coordinating the Human Resources Department in all its functions. In 2000 he held positions of increasing responsibility at EMEA level in Nokia. In the following years he moved first to Israel, then to Hungary as HR manager of the production unit. In 2005 he returned to Italy and joined the management team where he sponsored internal communication activities and the implementation of a Nokia’s project within the Involvement Community, leading the Networks sector towards a joint venture with Siemens. He started his professional carrier as Payroll Manager in Total Italia S.p.A., the Italian branch of the French international group TOTAL SA, leader in the oil products refining sector.
